Windows could not start the Hyperion Foundation OpenLDAP on the Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 21.

The process of recovering the Open LDAP database would be as follows.
_____________________________
1) Copy db_recover.exe from C:\Hyperion\products\Foundation\openLDAP\bdb\bin and paste to C:\Hyperion\products\Foundation\openLDAP\var\openldap-data

2) Start a DOS command prompt session and navigate to the directory ensuring it is the working directory: C:\Hyperion\products\Foundation\openLDAP\var\openldap-data

3) Run db_recover.exe from the same location which recovers the database. Parameters used: db_recover -v -t 2009080311
NOTE: the -h option is not required since we changed directory to the OpenLDAP database directory noted above in #2.

3) Try restarting the Shared Services by going to control panel/Services and start Hyperion Foundation OpenLDAP Shared Services.
